They need 2 bottom pairing D men. Smith is an option, but the issue is that it's Rielly Smith more than cap. Carolina can afford to keep Guentzel, Jarvis, and Necas. Without much trouble too. They could add Smith, if they wanted. Try it for yourself, create a Canes ACGM and test it.
