I think protected 2025 1st...or just 2nd+3rd gets the job done on Ullmark.

with the exception of missing poitras, i'm pretty cool with this. still don't really like lindholm but at 4 years its not terrible.

Don’t believe a second and third gets it done for a team in the East.

If it would have, it would have been done last year when Boston was in cap hell.

Were they selling Ullmark?

I'd rather give a late 1st than a 2nd + 3rd.

The % success rates suggest otherwise. I’d rather have a late first than a late 2nd/3rd any day of the week. In the NFL or NBA, I’m with you. In the NHL draft, not even a second thought even though I believe once you get past a specific number … the numbers diminish greatly and the Devils should be passed that number

Reportedly, they would have traded him but they weren’t going to take less than market and transitioned to Taylor Hall.
