and replaced him with Okposo?? Did you notice that NYR was 11-10-1 without Kakko this year while giving up about an extra goal a game because their 5v5 defense fell apart.

Kakko, while not the scorer we hoped turned himself into a excellent defender, and because he hasnt scored a ton he is underpaid for what he brings to the table.

Our 3rd line is a huge advantage. Please dont just look at points.

The only way Kakko is traded is if he asks for a trade (which yes is possible)
