Ya gotta think someone would take him for a year, for a very low pick. If it's for leadership purposes or playoff experience purposes, players like Cam usually always get a shot in the end.

That's the least of the trades though so I'm ok if that's the thing getting criticism.

I’d love to get Saros, I just doubt Nashville will part with him. They’re a playoff team, and a pair of Saros/Askarov next year is fantastic, if I were them I’d keep him too. I know he only has 1 year left and losing him for nothing would suck, but goalies rarely go for a haul anyway, and with 1 year left I doubt the offers are gonna peak their interest. Anything could change with a call but I’d lean them keeping him. I’m curious as to how Staios will handle the G room, can’t bring back the same tandem and hope for better. Feel like they’ll have to either keep or buyout Korpisalo, and buyout/trade Forsberg. My gut says they go for someone like Stolarz/Broissoit, not the biggest fish, but solid in multiple stops that can play 30-40 games for us.

Saros or Ullmark are the only options imo, these “mid” goalies need to stop, Saros would come with extension btw, NSH would be fools to lose him for nothing

I think the current landscape of the team, if that offer is on the table, I doubt Minten would be the hold up. He's not going to be the make or break with the core they have and the window they have right now. They have almost zero round 1 or 2 picks in the next 3 years so they won't be building from their system, that's for sure. It's do or die time.
