Dude Robertson and Jarnkrok are fringe guys...Arizona has a slew of all sorts of guys around Robertson's age...they don't give a second for him and he wouldn't make the team.

I won't repeat my opinion on the Jarnkrok value...I will let Ducks fans comment on that one.

Fowler has a NTC and likely doesn’t waive for Toronto. He’s close to 1,000 games and is likely going to stay a Duck for the rest of his career.

Robertson was actually second on 5v5 goals percentage on the leafs second to only Matthews. Many insiders and advanced stats analysts have stated how Robertson has actually played very deserving of a role on the leafs. The problem is yea he is still developing defensively. But guess guess what he is actually still young and learning. The ceiling for a high end top 6 scorer is still there. Not a fringe guy. As for Jarnkrok, as mentioned before, his production and defensive value speaks for itself when much apose player end up getting 3rds, 2nds, and even 1sts. The off-season I can see a hesitancy but in a deal like Jarnkrok is a middle six forward capable of all positions to help. For a team like Anaheim at a low contract is very valuable. As for the deal Fowler is on his back end so a deal like this is very valuable. It all depends based on another commenter. Does Fowler want to stay which is his right. Or does he say he wants one more crack at a another cup and say he is willing to trade is Anaheim has decent value.

And that is his right. Which Anaheim is right to value. The idea is maybe Fowler says I want another crack and if you get a decent worthwhile deal, you can trade me..then I can see Toronto a good team with great high end talent and an obvious hole on defense for good minutes as an option. If as you said he wants to remain a duck, then he remains a duck.

There's no value in his contract for Anaheim, we have the cap space to chase the third liners we want, and Jarnkrok we don't, that contract only has value to cap strapped teams. He doesn't play hard enough for what we're building, and his production this year is a direct result of riding Matthews coat tails at 1LW for a chunk of the year.

Right, so if Fowler does want to go to a contender why would he choose the Leafs? Lmao if anything he’d only waive for a real contender
