Why do some many think Lindholm is an improvement over Tavares. We've seen how much Tavares has "slowed", so why put yourself. in the same. situation with a long term contract with LIndholm.

I don't. But at the right price (ie. 6.5x6) he adds significant depth down the middle for the foreseeable future and allows the leafs to run three very strong lines and provides versatility for matchups and pairings, including giving Tavares more O-zone starts

Just play Domi at centre, he seems to thrive there in the playoffs. Matthews, Tavares, Domi, Kampf.....and Holmberg plays left wing unless he needed at centre. Minten isn't NHL ready in October so here's a Marlie. 6.5m X 6 for a player past is peak is an expensive 3C.
