i'm just not seeing holtz and a 25 second as appealing.

I’ve posted this trade and other similar ones and have had Bruins fans actually say it was too much. I’ve seen a few Bruins fans say Holtz for Ullmark 1 for 1. Don’t forget this is acquiring Ullmark with no extension attached

How is Holtz defensively? I think if he can be schooled up to the Bruins defensive structure, this is a solid deal. Is a low 1st rounder from a different team all that better than a post hype sleeper like this? Ully is not going to get us a 1C so this might be the B's best deal.

That’s my thinking is would you rather get a late 1st and wait 2-3 years for them to come up or get someone like Holtz who can step right into top 9 role next year for cheap and then get a 2nd on top of that. His defensive game does need to improve but he’s taken strides with it each year. TBH you put him opposite Pasta consistently next year, he’ll give you a good 20-25 goals
