Zegras strikes me as a hothead that wants to be able to make mistakes, and Tortorella does not want to give his players that freedom because it's terrible for the culture of a hockey team. I might be wrong about Zegras, but if I'm right about him, then Tortorella and Zegras would mutually dislike each other.

Young star who fits timeline is significantly more valuable than pending UFA star. If Zegras goes to Philly, we want a young star RW the other way.
