No point in trading Miller, we need his stability back there til the next guys are ready (Zboril/Grzelcyk etc)

We already have Carlo and McAvoy on the back end less than 21!!
That 3rd line might get beat up, too young and inexperienced.
No need for McLement. we have Acciari. So 4th line is Schaller/Nash/Acciari
Marchy needs to be on PK 1, one of the leagues best

Hopefully Pasta ends up cheaper than that. If you're looking at a "salary dump" trade swap in Beleskey over Miller instead of buying him out. A Beleskey buyout would count against the cap for 6 years (double the remaining 3 years that are left on his deal). McClement isn't needed as we have more than enough guys who can plug into the 4th line.

Ya I think $6.5M AAV for Pasta
Yes I say keep Bels or maybe trade for a draft pick, but I'd just as soon keep him. He has uses, and an upside if he gets back on track!

I honestly think Pasta will be expensive. He put up 70 points this year and was a major factor getting the Bruins back into the playoffs. Unless they give him some sort of bridge contract before signing a long term deal, I think he will be atleast 7 mil if not more. Look at Krejci's contract, Pasta is more valuable then him.

And for McClement, he's a player who's good defensively especially pk, and could add a veteran presence to a possibly very young bottom six. Also he'd be cheap.

good point about Beleskey

Pasta's production is 1 year. Krejci has been doing it for 10. Marchand put up more points than Pasta, why is he making less than Bergy and Krejci???? Your comparison reasons are crap. He's worth $50M for 8 years, end of story. He still get another long contract to make $15M per year!!!! It's all about Sweens selling him to keep salary in cheque so that they can build another cup winner while Bergy and March are around - why handcuff the team???? And no chance at a cup?????

We've got a ton of defensive players, no need to bring someone in who doesn't know the system!!!! We have tons of prospects, we need to find spots for them to play!!!!
