Tavares has a NMC but either way thats a terrible trade for the leafs.

JT only has one year left, Josh anderson is still a terrible contract for 3 or 4 years

Canes decline, but not for value reasons. Orlov was signed to help lure Alexander Nikishin out of Russia. Orlov is his idol. This is probably a steal from a value standpoint, but it's not worth the risk of Nikishin staying in Russia

Personally, I would much rather have Orlov than Rielly. That contract won’t age well at all.
