Leafs keep the superior Kampf, Timmins and the 1st. Kampf wouldn't have any poor team with cap on trade list anyway. Timmins is not a cap dump. He can waived to the Marlies with no cap implications

Toronto has no interest in trading their 1st or dumping Kampf. Timmins can be waived.

Tampa Bay isn't giving up a 2nd to dump Sheary. How about a much more fair 4th?

Tampa declines. They might move a 3rd or two mid round picks, but not as high as a 2nd. They would just buy him out before paying that price.

KK has upside (it is a risk from SJ). Orlov is overpaid but still a decent player who should have value at the deadline. Carolina is also taking some bad contracts back. Sheary is deadweight and his contract is a year longer.
