Elliotte Friedman brought up a good point

Created by: gpmack95
Team: 2024-25 Seattle Kraken
Initial Creation Date: May 3, 2024
Published: May 3, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
EF brought up a good point; NBA will be doing expansion here soon and coming back to Seattle. He said the Kraken will feel pressure to stay in the spotlight and want a good team.

They have good young pieces, but I feel Francis should be very aggressive this offseason.

That NYR trade is ugly for Seattle IMO. I would want way more than Robertson to take Goodrow. Unprotected 1st rounder at minimum. Also wouldn't trade Bjorkstrand for Chytil given there is a high possibility of LTIRetirement from Chytil. Especially not retaining money on the deal. They can keep an overpaid 4th liner and their LTIRetired player.

Buffalo is probably on Gourde’s NTC it would be a perfect fit for the Sabres.

I don't think the Leafs deal is necessarily terrible, but if Lilly only costs that much to sign I'd think they keep him.

He will, that's why I don't see them moving him... Let alone 1 2nd

Im a huge Chytil fan but i dont think any team should or will trade for him at the moment because of his injury history.

Goodrow can be easily bought out this summer, but sure id trade Robertson with him

Francis letting an entire line of 30-40 point players go and not replacing them was likely the biggest reason for the Kraken's fallback this season, not the coach.

As usual, your Ranger trades are absurd.

I will bring up the really good point that Friedman is an idiot, and don't know puck.

SEA could careless about the NBA. They aren't the same fanbase. Everyone knows that.
NBA bombed in SEA once, it will do so again.
