Marner can be a great 1 year piece for Utah to start the franchise bring some stardom into the franchise. Keller not happy about Utah move would 100% wave NTC. Marner may not but if leaf’s force his hand we’ll see.

I think Matthews can carry his own line and having Keller and Knies he will still have unreal support.

Second line having Nylander domi Mcbain that provides scoring as well as a good overall defensive line.

The third line of JT Bobby Yanni is amazing.

Defense gets significantly better.

Seattle gets rid of a good player but they get 2 young good players in Hirvonen and Lilirgen and they receive some draft capital. Leafs may need to add a bit maybe another pick and/or prospect.

I think Woll is 100% ready for a starting role. Hildeby is promising as well i think he’s ready to backup.

Leafs can throw JT on LTIR and do what Vegas does with stone. Team is set long term as well which Trevilling wants he’s a Offseason GM not a big deadline dealer. He also gets to keep his draft capital and top prospects.

This also doesnt put the team into too much trouble with draft and prospect capital lost. Also shorter terms on the guys we have aqauired is always good for flexibility and for one year when we are able to revamp the next with jt's contract going down to a few mil/ or going to nothing.

I totally understand that these trades may seem a little unfair but its an idea and leafs have so many more prospects and some picks that they can include.

What are the thoughts on this??
