He will most likely will stay on the Flyers. There is no way they would trade him after they made him the captain, because it would be a terrible look for the team.

Also there's no way Flyers retain for 6 years or that some team takes on that contract without retention.

They are already retaining on Hayes so I don't see them doing that. They will probably want to retain on other contracts like Konecny, Laughton and Ristolainen if they want to trade them.
