Game 6

Created by: Dekes
Team: 2023-24 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: May 1, 2024
Published: May 1, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Maroon was terrible so slow game 5 he needs a rest, grzelcyk sucks.

Keep sway in and bring up the intensity. Lauko-Geekie-Freddy looked good before, we need Beecher for the draws/speed/defensive reliability. Shattenkirks offence was missed

Aside from the first few shifts, Grzelcyk played well for most part of the game. What offense has Shattenkirk provided?? Brazeau was also fine, rather him over Lauko and van Riemsdyk who hasn't done much after scoring one goal.

Agreed - Grz was mostly fine and liked him over Shattenkirk, but he has limitations and I would not bring him back next season.

The most puzzling decision was taking out Beecher for Brazeau.... Beecher has been great this season. Maroon and Brazeau on the same line is too slow. Keep the 4th line together Boqvist-Beecher-Maroon and then choose between Brazeau/Lauko/JVR for the third line.

grzelcyk was really good in the second and the third, and the latter half of the first. the overreaction to his play is the best way for me to know someone has no clue what they're talking about, and listens to felger and mazz.

Grzelcyk has No strength he gets bodied by everyone.

How do you let Tavares beat you he’s slow as ****, he may be stronger but grzelcyk was in terrible position he could have easily cut him off if he wasn’t positioned so bad and you can see he was positioned bad because he nearly tripped rotating his hips.

Mcavoys fault not seeing the back door coming in but again that play doesn’t happen if grzelcyk was positioned properly

I think Heinen is dealing with an injury and should sit for game 6 along with Maroon! I’d keep DeBrusk with Zacha and Pastrnak, Geekie with Marchand and Coyle, Frederic centering JVR and Lauko and Beecher, Boqvist and Brazeau for the 4th line. Your defensive lines make sense though I can see Monty putting Forbort in instead of Lohrei and pairing him with Shattenkirk!

I really hope they just let Forbort rest, we need a faster team against Toronto. Taking lohrei out is a no go he’s looked good not great but him and mcavoy are literally the only dmen making plays offensively right now.

Atleast those 2 are staying patient and trying to carry the puck in the zone or make a good pass into the zone all of our other d are making terrible dump and chase plays that have not been working in our favour. Bruins really need more dmen who are comfortable and confident carrying the puck. If chych isn’t too expensive this off-season I hope bruins go back on him
