Miller is better offensively and better defensively while actually being a good leader

Only 1 of these players threw a temper tantrum at an empty net goal. I’d argue Brady is the “softest” of all the players you have listed here.

That’s so soft . Defending your teammates is never soft lmao

Let me guess Lekkerimaki and a 1st? Yeah not a chance

Lekkerimaki and a 1st is a good package for a good but not elite player like Brady. Lekkerimaki is an elite prospect who becomes far and away Ottawa’s best prospect

But I get not wanting more 1st round picks so that you can waste them on players like Tyler Boucher

Can’t wait for a future line of Batherson-Stutzle-Lekkerimaki maybe they’ll win the Charmin Ultra Soft Perimeter trophy

You’d clearly rather have a line of Josh Anderson-Rempe-Reaves. Because that’ll sure win you games lmao

If you blame Brady for sitting at home then you’re a moron.

      -40 saves below expected
And Chychrun -30 on the year is all you need to know. While Kubalik and Hamonic were 2 of the worst liabilities in the league

No id rather have a top 9 of:
      Tkachuk-Pinto-Batherson
      Marchment - Stutzle - Giroux
      Joseph - Greig - Fast

No but rather surround them with more toughness rather than trading the toughness to get more point producers with less toughness

I mean if you can trade Brady Tkachuk, who’s great but arguably the most overrated player in the league, 1 for 1 for Elias Pettersson you make that trade 100 times out of 100. It would be GM malpractice to decline that

Ok you keep your guy , we keep ours.

Saying Brady is overrated is the funniest thing ever. He’s underrated because of how over-hated he is .

Maybe cuz it’s not a totally useless stat.

Chychrun was -30 and absolutely did not pass the eye test.

Debrincat was -31 last year and didn’t pass the eye test either

He’s overrated because Sens fans act like he’s an elite superstar winger who’s just as good as his brother, when in reality he’s a fringe PPG, physical winger who’s bad defensively

That’s actually hilarious. He brings way more than you’re making him out to look like. You’re legit making it sound like he’s Jeff Skinner with a little more physicality

He’s physical and gets under the opposing team’s skin. He’s great offensively but bad defensively. He’s not a superstar player. He’s not as good as his brother. All of that is true

Yeah he’s not as good of a playmaker as his brother . Brady is way more grittier and gets his pts with more grit, rebounds , tip ins , back and forth.

Yet Brady had the highest percentage of primary pts this year in the league. 87.8% of his pts were primary points

      There’s actually a simpler way.

If a team is proposing one of their players for Brady Tkachuk to get tougher , then it means ottawa is getting softer

True but the title say soft players you’ve seen proposed for Brady

Not players softer than Brady. You are implying all these players are soft when they aren’t, they are just “softer” then Brady

For Petey and Marner i’d really consider it. Both actually try on defense, something Brady could seriously try to participate in. Love the dude but not playing defense is soft.

Our next hits leader would be Parker without Brady tho lmfao

With your goaltending that’s unlikely. Pettersson isn’t soft though. You clearly don’t watch the Canucks

Meanwhile Brady is soft and cried at an empty net goal. Not a true leader

He did the same thing against the Devils…went after Hischier after he skated puck into net (it was just after Greig/Rielly thing)….was the opposite of a slap shot. Brady went after him. Unhinged.

Toughness is a mental attribute, not a physical one.
