Bill Armstrong can find better ways to spend 9,000,000 in cap space, and don't need more pucks this isn't get to the floor AZ anymore

Easier to buy skinner out, than ante up what is needed to take on 27 million or whatever is left, to trade skinner, probably need a laine or Huberdeau or someone in that 8 to 10 million dollar range in a blockbuster sort of scenario. Bomb for potential bomb.

Skinner’s no movement clause makes this a moot point. Why the hell would he ever agree to go to Utah? Also, buying him out is just burning money. It’s not as if he isn’t still productive, he scored over 20 goals this year and it was a down year for everyone.

My answer was to moving on from him, ya you do just keep playing him til his contract is up or something changes.

Why would Utah take Skinner and his $9 mill for another 3 seasons for a simple 2nd?
