I don't see the islanders trading Pageau this offszn especially if they had to retain. Value is probably fair

Mercer is due a raise. Luke is eligible for extension July 1st. Nemec the year after. Its more the cap hit.

At least Palat's deal is closer to being over. PLD has just complained to get moved out of places and has been a massive disappointment. No interest in him whatsoever.

No chance that we trade for Jean Gabriel Pageau, and even less chance that we trade away local boy, fan favorite and top goal scorer Trevor Moore.
