I see where you are coming from and as an oilers fan I thing signing Henrique is the right move, but I believe front office wants to have Holloway in foegeles place for next season, as he will have a much lower cap hit. If Henrique doesnt work out I can see them doing this. Carcone carries league min cap hit next year and kerfoot with that retention is the same cap hit as Foegele had this year. Kerfoot had 40 points last year and Carcone had 21 goals.
