I'd take the gamble on that Tavares deal, and if he is not willing to sign an 2-3 year extension with Ottawa before the deadline I'd move him for an A level prospect OR a 1st + a B prospect. It would suck if we were in playoff contention, but it's a risk I'd take.

The Chychrun deal is nowhere near good enough. Declined.

NSH declines. That is a lot to give up for a guy who makes 7.5 mil and will still play behind Josi.
