Wanna fix the Leafs... get Bettman and the Board of Governors to go back to the 8 playoff seed format, maybe then the Leafs can avoid playing Boston or Tbay every playoffs.

This reminds me of all the great Calgary teams in the 80-90s that never got a chance for their own Dynasty because they had to play Gretzky's Oilers every year.

I agree that they need to get rid of it, but this year played out with #4 Boston vs #5 Toronto.

I do think Toronto needed to redistribute. Trade a forward for a goalie and defenseman.

Comparing Gretzky's Oilers to the 2024 Bruins is absolutely wild

That's exactly who the 5 seed should play. Getting to play the Bruins who don't have a top 6 center on the roster and have Danton Heinen as a first line winger is an absolute gift for the leafs.
