You also look at footage where Marner isn't on the ice, McCabe puts himself out of position and the leafs get scored on and blame Marner for it. Your facts are not real.

McCabe went for a big hit, he put himself out of position and cost the team. Although Sammy being in net didn't help anything.

1. No lazy OZone turnover

2. No lazy change on the backcheck

True. But in June 2025. The Leafs don't have any picks in first four rounds. It will be all in 24/25.

I wonder honestly about trading down and amassing assets for both this draft and 2025

We have seen teams do it to where they trade a pick and get some for this and next draft

Thats what I feel we should do as this draft aint crazy

Our first is between 23 and 25 so yea can probs trade down get 2 mid 2nds then go from there like the Canes did.

25/26 hopefully the good and cost efficient, Minten, Cowan, Grebjokin?Webber are Leafs.

They technically also have Holmberg on a pretty cheap deal along with McMann and Benoit who are on some nice reasonable extensions.

JT's also off the books so theirs money to spend anyway.

I think Cowan and Minten could force the issue sooner. Maybe not both but I bet one of them makes the team next year.
