My ideal Edmonton Oilers 2015 summer

Description
Breakdown of trades:

Edmonton gets a much needed addition to their defense core and the Predators get their much needed potential number 1 centre as well as a defenseman who can contribute immediately on their bottom pairing.

Oilers gets their second needed top 4 defenseman and the Devils get a decent centre prospect as well as a high pick to replenish their prospect pool.

Miller waives to Edmonton for an opportunity at a starting job and the Canucks get much needed cap space and a defenseman they can flip for additional cap space.

Oilers get their potential long term solution in goal and the Senators get the high pick and forward prospect with upside that Murray is seeking.

Scrivens becomes a redundant piece so he moves to the Islanders to fill their backup vacancy.

Oilers end up with 2 million retained on Nikitin deal .

I considered adding a depth forward in free agency but didn't feel it was worth it to overpay for a guy like Soderberg, this way allows flexibility for additional adds mid season or to pick up a depth forward on the cheap later in free agency or to claim a player off waivers at the beginning of the season.

With the loss of Draisaitl and Miller forward call ups become thin but felt the moves were necessary for both the short and long term success of the team.

Seems pretty realistic to me. The only trade I think might be an issue is the Miller one, but I have no issue with the other deals.

Thanks, I wasn't sure about the Miller deal. He's tough to predict because of his NTC and I wasn't sure if they would want a higher pick for him or if they would want to just skip Nikitin or skip Vancouver retaining on Miller.

I can't see the S.Jones trade or the Miller trade. Nikitin is a hot potato. Also, you need to include player bonuses in your Cap. McDavid and Jones will cost $3.25MM each.
