It's not that Liljegren is immoveable, it's just that the Leafs have a need for exactly what he is (R handed D, Puck moving D) , so for it to make sense to move him it's gotta be really worth their while, imo.

Just going by the 14,628 Flames ACGMs to Devils offering Markstrom for wide range of returns. It sounds like they want a young forward…and their GM had agreed to the Holtz-for-Markstrom scenario before their ownership pulled back. I agree that a 2nd is about right (but more with retention).

Their 1st is #7 overall, that would be too much. Maybe 2nd+ depending on what his next deal looks like.

Really doubt Duclair will go back to the Sens, He already decline a multi years contract from them before joining the panthers.

1. Under a million on a 1-2 year deal for Chris Driedger

2. A 1st + two 2nds for Jakob Chychrun

3. Boston's 1st + a pending UFA depth defenceman that can play on the powerplay for Timothy Liljegren

4. Jacob Bernard Docker + Boston's 1st + a 3rd if Ottawa wins the Cup for Jacob Markstrom.
