Bert isn't taking a million pay cut. McCabe has been the hart and soul of the d-core all season. Lilly lack of board battling cost the 3rd goal last game 18 seconds after the leafs tied the game. He is starting to give me that younger version of Brodie feeling. It might be time to trade him and go with a gritter d-man.

Doesn't it seem silly to think if Leaf fans think Kampf isn't worth isn 2.4m contract , that other teams would want him.
Also, you can be sure, players have non playoff teams with cap on their "no trade" list.

Vegas says no and the other two trades hmm McCabe is a bargain warrior for 2M so I doubt he goes anywhere and Timmins has no trade value...and I would stick with Kampf and Holmberg...Holmberg is a good cheap 13th forward...Kampf is a fine 3/4C if deployed with the correct flanks
