How exactly are those two trades fair for New Jersey or Carolina? Im a Devils and Oilers fan and giving up the second and third most promising prospects in Zacha and McLeod doesn't exactly seem like a fair price to pay for RNH, a 7th man, a b chip prospect, a 7D, and some picks. We need talent, and those players and picks aren't talent.

Carolina just got rid of Lack, confirming their Darling/Ward combo going into the season, and you offered them a 7D with a 3mil cap hit, a nothing special player, and a 4th. That trade screws Carolina in so many ways. You know they're gonna start with LB for the goalie coming back.
