The presence of a second goalie who statistically has been the best goalie in the league for the past two years. Their combined GSaX/60 over the past two years has been impressive as hell.

Have you considered it's the system, not the goalies?

The system that has allowed more high danger chances against of all the playoff teams? GSaX is a good metric to eliminate system advantages like LA has.

Monty’s system has more offensive pressure from defenseman, which leads to high danger chances. Trying to get how that system makes it easier.
