Boston would have to consider whether they would rather have couts at 7.75 or pay lindholm that much. Who do they thing has the better chance at regaining their previous form. Couts injury is scary and bruins could also just wait for the next few years if big names like drai/ rantanen/ eichel are gonna be hitting UFA all who have played Center in the past

I don’t see Lindholm hitting 9 to 10. Tops it’s 8.5 and that will require some resurgence in the playoffs, which is entirely possible

Lindholm hasn't been good this year... really doubt he gets long-term offers. I would be willing to go to $6.5M AAV for 3 years for him but outside of that would rather roll with Coyle, Zacha, and Poitras/Geekie

Essentially it would be Olofsson and Girg's contract money going towards TK. Bring up a ready minor and the hit wouldn't be that bad. Id be willing to look at Samuelsson to pair with Drysdale.

My guess is Boston offers 6 or 7 years in excess of 7M. 1 down year doesn’t change what market value is for him if he has a good year (7 years, 8.5M)
