It's not going to cost Edmonton assets to move Ceci this summer. One year left, plays one of the most valuable positions in the sport, isn't a complete analytical nightmare, veteran, etc.

I don't think they get much more than a 5th round pick for him in exchange for that sweet, sweet cap relief, but he's by no means a negative asset. The only reason he wasn't moved at the deadline is there wasn't a deal out on the market to upgrade on his services outright. If that bonafide replacement was available, we probably would have seen it happen.
