Gaudreau to Flyers

Created by: Gelvis

Description
In no way will Gaudreau be traded. For Brad Treeliving to trade a player and contract like that would take a massive package. Treeliving has all the cards and power in a move like this, plus 20+ teams could offer more appealing players then the Flyers unless they're open to moving Nolan Patrick. Provorov is a great player but Flames have no need for him. If they're moving Gaudreau, they better get a future top line stud +++. Therefore, if Philly really wants Gaudreau and not wait until he's a pending FA, they are going to have to pay up the a##. But I went easy on Flyers and tried to construct a trade that doesn't involve Provorov or Patrick.

I get what u mean, but Provorov has to be part of the trade lol IF it were to happen. I personally think, that with Guadreau in calgary, the battle of alberta becomes more intriguing smile

Provorov absolutely wouldn't need to be part of the trade. Look at CGY's defense on the NHL roster, and then look at the prospects coming up (Andersson, Kylington, Valimaki, Fox, etc.).

If anything, CGY would want to get multiple Top 6 forwards back in a deal.

Also, PHI would never pay that price. There are plenty of other posts that are much more reasonable prices on this site. There's about a 3% chance a trade even happens.

Thats too steep for Philadelphia. Essentially trading Bradyen Schenn (minor pick swap)/Simmonds/TK/2nd/3rd for Gaudreau.

If Philadelphia were to trade Provorov, CGY would have to add.

A Gaudreau to Philly trade would not be fair value. Treelving would hold Gaudreau for a ransom because he has him under contract for 5 years. I agree though, that trade won't happen. No Gaudreau to Flyers trade will ever happen. Trading a superstar like Gaudreau because he said he'd like to play for his hometown team one day is ridiculous.

way too much of an overpayment for Gaudreau, Simmonds and a first is more than enough IMHO...
