2. Anton Silayev (Columbus Blue Jackets) (Details: I believe that the Jackets, even though they are horrendous, go out and get a D).
3. Artyom Levshunov (San Jose Sharks) (Details: While the forwards are an issue, the young guns they have mean they target a D at 3).
4. Carter Yakemchuk (Chicago Blackhawks) (Details: The Blackhawks are looking fairly set at forwards especially with Bedard and another D off the board in the top 5).

Montreal could actually use a top forward prospect, and we wouldn’t need another LHD prospect. We could use Eiserman, iginla, or Catton more than we could use another LHD

That is 100% the opposite of what MTL needs. We take definitely take Igi or Catton here

Our LDs: Hutson, Guhle, Struble, Xhekaj, Harris, Matheson, Engstrom, and maybe even Trudeau

that's at least 4 guys with top 4 potential, or already top 4 Ds, and at least 7 with NHL potential or already NHLers, and that's just on the left side

I feel like Yakemchuk is a bit of a reach at 4 - would rather take Demidov if Levshunov is off the board

Maybe he's injury-prone, but he remains a top 4 talent. The LD is by far our deepest area in the futures, and that's not where we should attack, especially noting Dickinson isn't a particularly high-ceiling guy
