Adding Kaliyev just eliminates room for Holloway, Lavoie and Bourgault in our middle 6. Would rather keep Broberg for the bottom pairing or swap him for a 1B goalie/ RD

There's no way Byfield is signing that contract. A bridge for 3 years would cost around $6.5M. 8 years will cost $8.5M+.
