MIN may be cap strapped but I doubt they're that cap strapped. Would love Rossi, but Parise and Suter's dead cap hits drop from 7.5m to less than 1m after next season, just in time to resign Faber and Rossi to bridge deals or invest long term.

I don’t think it’s money wise but Russo said Minny may trade him due to fit issue

Hadn't heard that. What's the fit issue? Personality? Because Boston sucks at managing personality problems (see Seguin and Hamilton).

I like Rossi. Do you see him as a system fit at center in Boston? I’m curious if they’d play him there. It is not a bad thing since you have Zacha.

I think you are under on Swayman’s price

Curious if JM will sign that contract for just 3 years or will attempt to extend the years. At 3 years, I assume he gets a Dmiitry Orlov premium

We should be getting a top forward in this FA pool. He’s one of them. Maybe Guentzel. I think it is going to be Lindholm even if I understand the concerns some Boston fans have around him.

He's an undersized player on an undersized team. With Marat being slightly bigger and much faster, Yurov turning into a potential 1C this past season in the KHL, JEEK turning into an elite 2C, Hartman being able to play all 3 positions on all 4 lines, and Stramel/Kumpulainen/Heidt/Haight providing more competition at center, Russo believes that Guerin wouldn't be opposed to trading Rossi for either a big Top 6 F prospect or a top pair D prospect.

In other words, he's not actively shopping him but willing to listen to offers similar to the one you proposed (if Lysell were at least 2 inches taller and 30lbs heavier).

Small for small, seems like a fair trade. Poitras is also undersized which means the Bs may be out.
