I think Detroit would because Walman hasn't played recently and they've been better without him. I don't think Berggren will resign with Detroit and is probably available. I don't see Veleno being a long term player on the Red Wings either. So this trade makes a lot of sense.

This trade makes zero sense for Detroit. Even with Walman not playing terribly well right now, he's a top 4 defenseman, and plays well with Seider most of the time. They're not just going to give him away.
