Good deal for Freddie. Now we wait for the bigger contracts to be signed. Who knows what else could happen. Still think they added Emelin as ammo for a future trade. I'd also keep an eye on the Tomas Tatar situation in Detroit.

I love all the contracts except for Aberg. I think based on the playoffs alone, he gets at least 1.5, but it's not a big big deal. I don't think they'll be able to get Detroit unless they move Emelin like you said, but I don't think they'll move him. I believe the Preds are just stacking the defense even more. But I like your idea.

Yeah Aberg is a guess, but I'm sure Poile could find a way to add some bonuses for Aberg to earn based on performance. As for Emelin, I still just think it is odd to be paying a 3rd pairing Dman $3 million if you don't plan on moving him. But I'm not GMDP so who knows what he's got planned
