Solving our defensive issues by adding a top 3 Dman in the world? Who is an elite defensive player in addition to being a game breaking offensive player? Who is locked in long term for less than Chabot or Sanderson? If you don't see that the Sens come out massively ahead in this deal, I don't know what to tell you. If this deal was on the table you take it, then you immediately rebuild the blueline around Hughes/Sanderson/Zub and the team is instantly better for it.

We already have Sanderson and Chabot though so there's no point. We need to swap a LHD for an RHD.
