Description

Like Spooners point production. He put up his best numbers on a line with Lucic and Pastrnak. Nash and Zuc would be a similar line. Great skater and has passing ability of Stepan. Defensive liabilities are passable on this line and with our upgraded D.

Parenteau back as cheap solution if Lias isn't ready. Great possession guy who has built in chemistry with Desharnais from their time in MTL.

Would trade for Center at deadline if Spooner doesn't work out (Bozak, Little, Stastny, other ufa)
Don't trust AV not to play Staal 20 minutes a night so have to buy him out. Staal playing a full season on the roster on 2nd line probably worth -10 pts in standings.

NYR have to be counting down the days till Rick Nash's contract expires.

Spooner sounds like an OK fit ... but his face offs are vomit worthy. Might be a better winger.

I really don't want Staal on the roster, but buying him out kills the cap along with Girardi for a long time, just pray and hope we can somehow trade him to a stupid team!
