Seattle gladly accepts, and probably retains 50% for that package too...I don't think the Rangers need to give up Lafreniere to get Eberle though. You could probably send Kakko with the pick instead. Seattle would take Vesey if New York wants to send him to Seattle as well, but Kakko and a 2nd is probably enough to get Eberle. Seattle would probably accept a straight up trade to swap Lafreniere and Eberle with retention, but I wouldn't do that if I were the Rangers.

There is not a chance NYR will send Kakko or Laf for Eberle. Eberle at best gets a 1st round pick, so depending on how the TDL develops (buyer or seller market) he could go for less. TBH if you are giving up a 1st, I'm going Tarasenko over Eberle
