Leafs keep the just as good goalie in Samsonov. Even at 4.5m Markstrom is iffy, never mind the Leafs. giving up Hildeby and a first.

Calgary doesn't do that Tanev trade whatsoever
I would rather trade him for 3rd to Dallas then take that horrendous deal from Edmonton

Why would the Leafs, or why would any fan of a rival team think the Leafs will, trade for a goalie? We have very few assets to make deals and goalie is at bottom of our want list 🤦🏻
