In my mind, Kovacevic isn't a good solution for the Oilers.

You want Suzuki for Harris...? You may get a 6th, not Suzuki and a 3rd. Absolutely not. Plus, absolutely awful fit. Carolina's ridiculous strength is their blueline.

Oilers accept. 5th rounder for depth. It’s acceptable.

Flyers don't need a goalie and Allen won't have to Philly

Ryan Suzuki is entering Shane Bowers territory. He's more a project than he is anything else

Considering their career trajectory is near identical...

Suzuki was drafted first round back in 2019 and has one 50 game season and can't even crack 0.5ppg in the AHL this season

Shane Bowers 2.0

Yes, you've proven you don't watch Suzuki. Thank you, you don't need to continue to sight counting stats that are completely irrelevant in judging a players development. Thank you

Lol. In other words, you have no other way of convincing me he's not a bust

No, you just need to watch him. Considering his D + 5, he's not where he should be, but he's far from a bust. His game sense and skillset are still clear above those around him, and it's more of an issue of Carolina's depth than his skillset, this is why I tell you to go watch him instead of spouting counting stats for a dude that was the entire reason his team was competitive last year when he was the only player worth a sh*t on the roster.

Allen has a 7 team no trade clause. Doubt he bothered putting Philly on it. He'll likely go anywhere with a chance to play more anyway and Philly probably qualifies with Hart out.
A 3rd is likely too much, but for a 5th it's fine.

Considering his D + 5,.

D+5 with at most one 50 game season and can barely crack 0.5ppg is just such a blue chip

Allen would not play that much more in Philly than he currently does

I've also met him multiple times, he has Phiilly on his NTC
