Description

If marner wants more then 11M let him walk, again his market value is 9.3M nylanders is 11.1M but I guess we’ll overpay him to keep him happy, but I might actually like this team better anyways

I know Ekblad didn’t grow up a leafs fan but maybe he wants to come closer to home

Robertson trade was the previous season before the start of the season

Brodie won’t be back after this season maybe not even tanev unless he takes 1M or less

Ekblad is already closer to home, he considers the Detroit Windsor area home not Toronto. He'd sign with his favorite Detroit Red Wings long before Toronto.

So Tavares is still your 2nd line center in this scenario, I'm not sure that's the best possible solution.

This is the last year Tavares is 2C then he drops down to 3C and Minten takes over 2C is how I see this playing out
