If I'm the Pens, I jump on that deal immediately. I'm a fan of Foegele and think playing on a team that has actual structure will let him thrive. This lets the Pens spread some depth.

Don't see Edmonton having much interest in this, as Foegele has been excelling in a top-6 role.

Easy no for Edmonton oilers aren’t trading foegle and definitely won’t be trading a first for tarasenko

He only appears to be "excelling" in a top-6 role because he's playing with Draisaitl.

Tell me why the oilers should trade foegle one of our best two way forwards having the best season of his career

    1. He once spent Sam Gagner + two 2nds on Athanasiou and then didn't qualify him.

During the draft, two 2nds are sometimes traded for a 1st.

    https://www.capfriendly.com/trades?event=draft&round=2

    2. Because Tarasenko is the much better player with a lower cap hit after retention.

Foegele plays with NHL All-Star Leon Draisaitl.

Tarasenko plays with AHL scrub Rourke Chartier

    3. You're a homer.

Stay mad at my opinion lmao but I can almost guarantee you this trade is extremely unrealistic and won’t happen but go ahead try again

Enjoy the TDL bud. Maybe next season will be the Sen's year. Feels like we've been hearing that for awhile now, though.

Yeah and he won with st Louis what’s ur point lmao? Hasn’t it been like a 100 years since Ottawa won? Maybe try making a trade that’s realistic and worth discussing I know that may be hard for you based on ur knowledge for hockey but it’s ok keep trying

I'd rather have a Stanley Cup than a late 1st round pick.

    Not sure about you.

Tarasenko has what it takes to get both.

    It's a win-win for both teams.

You mean just a win for Ottawa and what are you talking about would rather have a cup? You realize he won with St. Louis not Ottawa

So then they will continue to play him next to Draisaitl and he will continue to excel!

I'd rather have someone playing with Draisaitl that isn't as much of a parasite.

    Foegele is dead weight.
