Honestly Luke has been a straight up upgrade over Graves, even on defense. What we really are missing is Severson, but Nemec can fill that role when Dougie is back. Pettersson or Hanifin to push Siegenthaler down the lineup would be huge, but it won't fix our goaltending in itself

I’d go after both a dman and a goalie. Pettersson imo also vastly improves our PK. I’ve noticed how much better our PK is with Smith in the lineup (which is why I want him in at 4LW for now). If we could get a good PK dman like Pettersson who doesn’t destroy our 5v5 play like smith does that would be fantastic

Honestly Smith at wing is perfectly fine. Not a disasterclass like him at D

Yeah, he isn’t good there, but he’s easy enough to hide, and his PK value more than makes up for the slight difference in skill that Bastian gives
