A sabres retool by trading for players that have already come and go from the sabres?

Why not? Montour will get overpaid next summer and luckily FLA don't have enough cap space for that. Rodrigues only looks ok when playing with Barkov.

Or he takes a fair deal in no state tax Florida where he knows he can win. Instead of giving the state of NY ALMOST 3/4 of a million bucks per in taxes. Buffalo hasn't shown close to being able to make a deep playoff run.

Hopefully he will resign with panthers but I'm not surprised if he walks out for free. If they don't make the new deal before tdl I would trade him.
