We don’t do more than 3rd rounders and C prospects for rentals. Now all of a sudden we are going to trade morrow and a top 6 winger for a rental? Nah

First of all, the Canes just signed Bunting this offseason. They aren’t going to trade him not even a year after they signed him, which would basically tell every free agent that they have no loyalty, and would greatly reduce the amount of players who want to come to Carolina. Morrow isn’t likely to be moved since he is Burns successor.
