Big Sens Fan here, the tavares trade is the one Id want most we dont need Duchene, keep chaplik and move on. Tavares would make us legit cup contenders instantly .

How would the Senators get either of those guys without giving up Chabot? You gotta give to get

There is no way that Chabot would be in the Duchene deal. They may want him for Tavares, but I think he could be had without parting with Chabot, given the Brown, 1st in a very good draft year, and other picks/prospects. It isn't like Tavares has term to support a higher return.

I think we do need a Duchene like player even with Tavares, but that is my opinion I guess. I am a fan of Duchene and would love to see him in a Sens uniform.
