So basically Boston trades Brandon Carlo for Ceci, Novak & Nyquist. Novak is the only piece here that's worth acquire. Ceci is a downgrade from Carlo adn Nyquist just doesn't fit the Bruins style of hockey.

He's a RW which Boston doesn't need. He's not going to bump Pastrnak or DeBrusk from the top 6. Poitras is their #3C with Frederic or Geekie playing on his RW. Nyquist doesn't play a heavy game and is average at best in his own end. He doesn't make Boston any better of a team then they already are, but trading Carlo 100% makes them worse.

The entire concept is stupid from Boston perspective. Which is typical in every effort made by other fan bases attempts to get Carlo.
