I don't know about that.

The Leafs trade - 2 cap dumps, Reeves is signed to a 3 year contract. Dube just had 45P last year, and is still under team control, meanwhile Tanev would be playing on the top pairing in TOR.

The Boston trade - I thought Forbort was mostly a cap dump, but I could be wrong, since I didn't watch Boston much this season. Ruzicka is a pretty good young player as well that can play up and down the lineup. He is several years older than Poitras, but I think Boston gets some value. Lindholm is worth at least a 1st + 2nd + a prospect IMO.

I tried to make the Hanifin trade similar to the Hampus Lindholm trade. Where ANA got 1st + 2x2nds + cap dump + a B prospect.

Boston probably doesn’t trade Portias for lindholm 1-1 lol he’s too important to their future and leaf’s aren’t moving lily and Robertson reaves can sit in the minors and only cost us 200k no need to move that but yes they do need to get rid of klingberg but not at that cost that’s ridiculous if you add in zadorov half retained they’d at least think about it but probably still decline

Arizona isn’t trading a 1st when they’re devastated by long term injuries. The season will likely be punted on and we’ll chase hanifin in free agency

Makes sense. I just heared that Arizona was interested in Hanifin. You guys also have a bunch of picks, almost too many, so I can see the Yotes trading away several picks this year or next.

The price seems too high according to our beat reporter. We do have too many picks but we’ll likely do what we did to get Conor Geekie, package a late 1st and multiple 2nds to move way up in the draft. We’re pretty good at consolidating picks on draft day

wtf leafs would probably accept. Losing liljegren sucks but the rest of the assets aren't of much value and we get Dube AND tanev

If Colorado wanted Kadri at 7M for another 6 years, he'd already be on their roster. They weren't willing to do that in free agency, and they certainly aren't willing to trade a good assets for it now.

Unless Calgary retains at least 2M (and I'm not saying they should), the Avs aren't going to be the team that's interested.

Poitras is not available.

While the fans love to 💩 on Forbort he is having a good year and provides something they need. He’s not an obstacle to any trade, and would likely be included for cap purposes in any move they make as opposed to adding value to the trade. But i think the Bruins would miss him even if the fans did not.

1st/Lysell/Geekie is probably a closer starting point.
