Good try, but I don't think the Caps need that much cap space. I also don't think the Habs would trade two first round picks and Gallagher for Ovie. The Habs need a top line centre. The Caps would have gotten better draft picks, if they waited a day or two and traded Marcus Johansson (who can play centre) to Montreal (instead of New Jersey). And Smith-Pelley would only be used on the 4th line. The Caps only need to have two goalies with the big club. I would recommend adding two more forwards and one more defenseman. An NHL team usually has 23 players in total.
