Kulich Kulich Kulich

Created by: Burnzie8_88_4Cup
Team: 2023-24 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 4, 2023
Published: Nov. 4, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Got 3 points this week, after losing Wed. lost in OT to Utica Friday w/ 10 Fs, 1 D playing 3C (Metsa) and 7 D. And won 2nite in Syr. in SO. IDK how much longer Kulich is going to be an Amerk? He had the game tier on Friday and the go ahead goal in the 3rd 2nite and scored in the SO. He has 9 goals in 10 games + a SO goal. Only negative Dman Davies got hurt and Metsa went back to D and had already lost Johnson to Buff. This is the roster, how it ended. Rest now until next Friday at home vs Utica. Also, Savoie's 4 games inj. stint over, he's going back up to Buffalo. Finally, in Goal, D.Tokarski played both Friday and 2nite, not perfect but had a veteran presence, and has already looked like the Amerks best goalie at 34 or 35 years old. Hope no more injuries in Buff.

It’s gonna be hard to find a spot for him,
but also hard not to get him up here the way he’s playing

the main thing is his ELC can slide one more year so i'm going to guess he plays exactly 9 games this year. then he will be a sabre for 3 full years on his ELC.

I could see it either way. If they do bring him up, they have the 9 game’s things. The 1 reason I could see him staying is, last year he played LW, now he’s playing C and they may want him to play the full year here at C.

With Benson injured he won’t get his last couple games in for a while. But if Savoie is going to come up, then Rousek can go back down. Johnson looked good tonight, at the very least, he made a great outlet pass to spring Skinner for his goal. I have a feeling Johnson will get some time before he gets sent back. If Comrie gets healthy they would send Biro back too.

Interesting to is Kulich is playing Center for Rochester and doing very well there.
Skinner Tage Tuch
JJ Mitts Greenway
Cozens Kulich Savoie All 3 can play C, but Cozens and Kulich can definitely switch up if need be.

I was a bit surprised Johnson was called up, not because of his talent, but I thought it was short term for Samuelson and they would just have Stillman be the 7th D for a bit and have Johnson keep playing. But I saw Sam. Is on IR, he’s been hurt 2 years now, not good. Davies was hurt for Amerks, not sure how long, they have still 6, 3 L 3 R, so we’re good, but we don’t need anymore injuries in the org.

We could use one of Rousek or Biro back, or both, we have like 6 Forwards out. Been going 11 F 7 D.

I get what you’re saying
But they aren’t gonna keep Kulich in the AHL just bc there’s not a spot at Center for him up here
If they think he’ll help the Sabres, then they’ll find a spot for him

If/when he leaves, I’ll miss him, it hasn’t been often that the Amerks have gotten good, young players. But these last few years with Buffalo pipeline, have gotten to see Mitts, JJP, Quinn, Kulich, Rosen, and Savoie. It’s been nice and Great for the organization.

Adams has done a GREAT job accumulating young talent
A successful AHL team will only help the Sabres going forward

Kulich & Rosen will both definitely get some call up time with the Sabres this year
Idk that they stay up permanently though? Probably not
I’d imagine at the very least, that they finish the year in Rochester for the playoffs
One or both could be on the Sabres roster permanently next season though, depends on how much room we have for them
